Wellcentive PQRS

Source: Wellcentive

PQRS stands for Physician Quality Reporting System, formerly known as Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI). It is a pay-for-performance program that started in 2007. It is a voluntary program, with incentives given to physicians who report quality clinical data to CMS for their Medicare Part B FFS Patients.

Launched in 2006, the PQRS program (formerly known as PQRI) provides incentives to Medicare Part B physicians who submit clinical data on their prescribed medical and drug treatments for certain conditions.  With almost 200 outcome measures, PQRS offers something for both primary and specialty care providers; however, PQRS reporting can be a time-consuming effort.  An established leader in PQRS reporting, WellCentive was chosen to help CMS pilot a system for reporting data directly from registries and EMRs to CMS.

WellCentive PQRS is the industry’s most comprehensive PQRS reporting program, minimizing paper filing via a registry-based approach.  With 198 individual measures across all measure groups, all reporting periods, and e-prescribing, providers can have the confidence of knowing they will address all the requirements for PQRS payments.  Providers have the potential for immediate ROI via a $2,000-$4,000 participation payment for PCPs – and usually much more for SCPs.

You don’t have to be a WellCentive Registry or EHR user to use WellCentive PQRS.  Our industry-leading tool can collect and submit data on behalf of any provider.  WellCentive PQRS can be used as a stand-alone system or integrated with our Registry and EHR solutions on a physician-by-physician basis.  This means you can customize the solutions your providers use to meet their needs and better engage them in quality improvement and physician performance programs.
