Tommy Ibrahim M.D., EVP And Chief Physician Executive Will Be Presenting At The National Healthcare CMO Summit In March!

Marcus Evans is very proud to announce Tommy Ibrahim, EVP and Chief Physician Executive of INTEGRIS as a keynote speaker at the National Healthcare CMO Summit which will take place on March 18-19, 2019 at The Langham Huntington in Pasadena, Los Angeles.

Tommy Ibrahim, M.D., is the executive leader of INTEGRIS physician and medical staff leaders. He serves as the physician executive in charge of leading the strategic direction for clinical services throughout the health system, including all clinical excellence, quality and patient safety objectives. Dr. Ibrahim has served in executive health care for eight years.

Prior to joining INTEGRIS in December 2017, Dr. Ibrahim was Chief Physician Officer at Mercy Health System in Des Moines, Iowa, and Chief Physician Executive at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.

Tommy Ibrahim received his Bachelor of Medical Science degree and his Doctor of Medicine degree from St. Christopher’s College of Medicine in Cambridge, England, and holds a Master of Science degree in Health Administration from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. He is a practicing hospitalist and boarded in internal medicine and hospital medicine.

Dr. Ibrahim is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Fellow in Hospital Medicine.

At the upcoming National Healthcare CMO Summit, Tommy Ibrahim’s presentation will be about ‘Chipping In: Methods to Remain Financially Sustainable’. Quality seems to be an ongoing issue within the healthcare environment resulting in medical officers ensuring that they have their hospitals on the right path. Recently there has been a lot of money thrown at population health initiatives, expanding services and overall investing in the competitive healthcare environment; however in result of these investments, margins are being challenged. This session will reveal:

  • Reducing unnecessary care and overuse of care
  • Encouraging patients to participate actively in their care
