Sterile Processing Microsystem One (SPM·1)

Sterile Processing Microsystem One (SPM•1) is a computerized sterile processing asset management system designed with smaller hospitals and surgery centers in mind. SPM•1 uses bar code technology to track the location and movement of instrument sets from prep/pack to sterilization to dispatch to surgery.

SPM•1 offers all the features of the full, networked SPM system, but operates on a single computer workstation located in the prep/pack area.

SPM•1 is a reliable, user-friendly system that provides solutions at the touch of a button. Each instrument set is bar-coded for identification and scanned at the workstation in prep/pack to document the set's status at each step, from receipt in prep/pack to delivery to the user.
