Success Story: Community Health Systems

Community Health Systems (CHS) is one of the nation's leading operators of general acute care hospitals. The organization's affiliates own, operate or lease more than 130 hospitals in 28 states, with an aggregate of nearly 18,700 licensed beds. In more than 65 percent of the markets served, CHS-affiliated hospitals are the sole provider of healthcare services.

CHS originally used HP libraries for data storage, but replaced the unit at the headquarters with a Spectra T950 library. They selected Spectra Logic due to the products' encryption capability, modular expandability, high density and low power consumption.
