Sage Named 'Five-Star Vendor' By West Virginia Regional HIT Extension Center
Sage Intergy Meaningful Use Edition software helps physicians meet their practice's goals in the continually evolving healthcare economy
Sage Healthcare Division, a unit of Sage North America, announced recently it has been named a five-star vendor by the West Virginia Regional HIT Extension Center (WVRHITEC) as part of the REC's EHR Vendor Recognition program.
The West Virginia REC's EHR Vendor Recognition Program is designed to help connect healthcare providers who are seeking an electronic health record (EHR) system with vendors who have met certain WVRHITEC thresholds for clinical functionality and service.
Though WVRHITEC is a vendor-neutral REC, it selects only vendors, including Sage, that meet the ONC's EHR certification requirements and meaningful use objectives and those that are willing to work closely with WVRHITEC to facilitate EHR implementation.
Sage Healthcare Division, a major provider of EHR and practice management software and solutions, serves more than 400,000 healthcare provider users and approximately 80,000 physicians in North America. Sage has been named a preferred EHR vendor of numerous RECs including New York eHealth Collaborative, Ohio Health Information Partnership, Missouri Health Information Technology Assistance Center, South Florida Regional Extension Center and Massachusetts eHealth Institute.
Sage will make the ONC-ATCB certified Sage Intergy Meaningful Use Edition available to the thousands of participating healthcare providers throughout the country.
"The designation by WVRHITEC adds to the growing list of Regional Extension Centers throughout the United States that either fully endorse Sage products or trust our solutions and services to guide physicians through the meaningful use process," said Ken Ernsting, Vice President of Business Development for Sage Healthcare Division. "Sage continues to focus on helping our current and future customers understand, adopt and implement EHRs; and we support all Regional Extension Centers and their mission to provide direct assistance to their provider members."
Sage Intergy Meaningful Use Edition, a certified meaningful use software solution, is a comprehensive clinical, financial and administrative solution that empowers physicians to advance the quality and efficiency of care they deliver.
