Reid Health In North America Goes Live With Hospedia's Patient Centered Care Platform – Improving Patient Satisfaction And Clinical Workflow

Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana is the latest hospital in North America to implement Hospedia’s Patient Centered Care Platform, in partnership with their communication partner Unify. The provision of the bedside terminals by Hospedia will not only provide patients with access to a wide range of patient media and entertainment solutions (including movies from SWANK, IPTV, telephone, and Internet), but also supports improved patient engagement.
The patient engagement solutions include links to web-based education systems, local and hospital information, and access to their Patient Portal.
In addition to the patient benefits, clinicians will be able to use their smart cards on the terminals for single touch authentication (via Imprivata) for Clinical Access at the bedside – allowing the clinicians to access a wide range of clinical applications right at the point of care.
The hospital is already seeing improved patient satisfaction as a result of these newly adopted solutions with plans to further extend the service to include direct access to educational content, display of patient schedules, enhancement of the patient whiteboard and patient service request integration with Vocera.
