Kofax Provides Australia's Largest State Public Health Department With Invoice Processing Solution

Kofax plc (LSE: KFX), the leading provider of document driven business process automation solutions, today announced it is providing Australia's largest state public health department with a solution to process approximately 2 million invoices received annually. The value of the contract to Kofax is $750,000.

The organization will use Kofax software to capture and extract data from invoices that originate in 220 public hospitals and more than 500 community health centers state wide. The resulting data and images will then be matched and validated at two service centers and exported into an Oracle Financials system for further processing. The software will decrease the need for labor intensive, manual data entry and allow the agency to significantly reduce costs, increase efficiency and improve vendor relationships. Capturing data at hundreds of origination points will also eliminate significant mailing and tracking costs and accelerate turnaround times, leading to further productivity improvements.
