Pie Medical Imaging Presents Its Suite Of Structural Heart Software Solutions

Pie Medical Imaging presents its complete suite of structural heart solutions at the EuroPCR in Paris (May 15th through 18th). The software suite facilitates planning and guidance of aortic and mitral valve treatments.

Structural Heart software suite
Ground breaking interventional treatments for structural heart disease request dedicated tools. To meet this request, Pie Medical Imaging has developed a complete software suite for planning and guidance during valve replacement procedures. The suite consists of 3mensio Structural Heart and CAAS A-Valve. 3mensio Structural Heart combines the Aortic Root software with the new workflow for Mitral Valve replacement, both dedicated to planning of interventions. CAAS A-Valve offers assistance in guidance during interventions. Both 3mensio Structural Heart and CAAS A-Valve are CE certified and FDA 510(k) cleared.

3mensio Structural Heart
3mensio offers detailed pre-op planning of procedures based on analysis of CT scans. The new Mitral Valve workflow lets the user trace and evaluate the complex shape and dynamic behavior of the valve. Besides the analyses of the aortic and mitral valve, 3mensio Structural Heart also offers analysis of the femoral, subclavian and transapical access routes to select the optimal approach.

CAAS A-Valve
CAAS A-Valve provides assistance during aortic valve replacement procedures. Based on a 3D reconstruction of the aortic root from X-ray data, CAAS A-Valve calculates the optimal X-ray projection to visualize the valve with its cusps aligned. Automatic measurements report the dimensions of the aortic root.
