PerfectServe Launches Version 2.0 iPhone & Android Apps
New versions of PerfectServe’s clinical communications mobile apps include enhanced secure messaging and organizational-based security
PerfectServe, the leading provider of intelligent clinical communications services, announced recently that it launched PerfectServe Clinician 2.0 for iPhone and Android. The newest versions of the clinical communications mobile apps now offer physicians enhanced secure messaging, a personalized launch screen, push notifications and increased organizational-based security.
As a part of the update, PerfectServe Clinician is introducing its enhanced doctor-to-doctor HIPAA-compliant, secure text messaging. This feature offers new functionality in which a physician may send, receive and reply to secure text messages with colleagues. In addition to the ability to communicate via a real-time telephone call, he or she can now communicate via secure text messages, which take into account the practice communication process rules, call schedules and notification preferences.
In addition to existing PerfectServe fail-safe notification processes, physicians can now accept push notifications for secure messages received via the mobile app. Upon receipt of a push notification, physicians are directed to their new secure message with one click.
The latest mobile app for iPhone and Android also includes a personalized launch screen. With this feature, physicians can customize the app to automatically open to his or her preferred screen, such as the secure message inbox.
The new apps also have enhanced organizational-based security, so healthcare organizations utilizing the intelligent clinical communications platform can customize and enhance security settings for the mobile app to ensure clinical communications are safe. These enhanced security settings require a personal identification number each time the mobile app is accessed or require a password change based on hospital policy.
