The New York City Regional Electronic Adoption Center for Health is working with SA Ignite to allow more providers access to MU tool.

SA Ignite and the New York City Regional Electronic Adoption Center for Health (NYC REACH) have expanded their relationship to allow more providers the ability to utilize SA Ignite’s MU ASSISTANT, a cloud-based solution that accelerates compliance and saves time by automating the full range of meaningful use (MU) reporting and attestation activities for eligible providers.

These services include the extraction of functional and quality MU measures from any EHR; one-click MU registration and attestation; tracking for eligibility, attestation history, payment year, stage, and more; delivery of scorecards and financial reports on the provider and group levels; and capture of end-to-end MU audit trail artifacts.

NYC REACH launched pilot programs with SA Ignite in 2012 and 2013, respectively, to assist providers at two different facilities with their EHR initiatives and to facilitate efficiencies in the administrative burden of their MU program management. Based on the success of this pilot program, NYC REACH will now be offering MU ASSISTANT to 500 additional providers.

NYC REACH works with providers as they transition from volume- to value-based care, utilizing health IT to drive outcomes and reduce disparities. MU ASSISTANT provides a tool to show providers where they were excelling and where they needed support in meeting government requirements.

NYC Reach is a collaboration between the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene's Primary Care Information Project and the Fund for Public Health in New York that aims to help physicians in adopting technology and methods that measurably improve the health of people in New York State, according to the organization’s website. The organization helps offset the cost and burden of this transition through training, education, and links to funding sources and helps providers who may be eligible for incentives for EHR use from federal, state, or private programs.

SA Ignite provides EHR-agnostic, cloud-based solutions and services that simplify and automate the processes associated with pay-for-performance programs, according to the company’s website. MU ASSISTANT is the company’s flagship product. SA Ignite currently serves more than 60 customers across more than 10 EHR brands.
