One Of Europe's Largest BPO Providers Selects ibml Capture Solution
TNT Business Solutions proceesses more than 600 million pages annually with ibml's ImageTrac scanner and SoftTrac Capture Suite software
ibml, a leading provider of scanning and document capture solutions and services, recently announced that its software and hardware is helping TNT Business Solutions, one of Europe's largest BPO providers, reduce costs, improve margins, and expand its service capacity.
TNT Business Solutions is using two ImageTrac high-speed scanners and ibml's SoftTrac, DocNetics and DynamicTIFF software to process over 600 million pages a year.
Deploying the ibml solution has resulted in "six figure" annual cost savings, according to Alex Morris, General Manager of Operations for TNT Business Solutions. The efficiencies provided by ibml have also enabled the company to approach the market with more competitive, lower price-per-sheet rates and enhanced service levels. In addition, the data capture intelligence provided by DocNetics has enabled TNT Business Solutions to diversify into lucrative new market segments, such as virtual mailrooms.
Since deploying ImageTrac scanners, TNT Business Solutions has benefited from a significant drop in paper jams and document re-scans, and a decrease in the need for maintenance and engineer support. Scanner consumables have also been significantly reduced.
The ibml solution was also selected because it supports the wide range of documents processed by TNT Business Solutions, including business cards, A0 building plans, photographs and books, as well as a mix of structured and unstructured document capture applications. The BPO provider also leverages ImageTrac's capability to concurrently scan monochrome, color, grayscale and sub-images.
TNT Business Solutions plans to expand its use of ibml solutions and deploy the technology in other locations to support both on-site and off-site scanning.
