One By Ingenious Med Secures #1 Ranking From KLAS

The cloud-based patient encounter platform earns recognition for its quality and innovation

Ingenious Med, provider of the premier patient encounter platform One by Ingenious Med (IM1), recently announced that IM1 has been named the KLAS Category Leader among mobile data systems in the “2014 Best in KLAS: Software and Services” report.

Generated by the independent research organization KLAS, the annual report highlights top performing healthcare vendors and solutions based on survey feedback submitted from healthcare providers nationwide. IM1 earned the highest score of 94.8, which exceeded the scores of competing companies in the top three by an average of 10 percent.

“Much of the satisfaction stemming from IM1 is due to its interoperability and the opportunity it provides to ensure all information throughout the entire patient journey is documented, automated and streamlined,” said S. Hart Williford, CEO and president of Ingenious Med. “Unifying communication, coding, revenue and business intelligence into a single solution will become even more critical as the healthcare industry nears the ICD-10 adoption deadline.”

Ingenious Med’s innovative approach to healthcare data management has led to IM1’s implementation in more than 900 healthcare facilities across the U.S., including eight of the 10 largest hospitalist management companies and the top four health systems. Additionally, the company has recently received investments from Ascension Ventures, Heritage Group, Kaiser Permanente Ventures, and most substantially North Bridge Growth Equity. Their support will aid in accelerating the company’s disruptive impact and growth as it expands clinician alignment offerings in 2015.

“We really value KLAS ratings to help us better serve our clients. The feedback we have received from them within the categories of: Sales & Contracting, Implementation & Training, Functionality & Upgrades, and Service & Support have aided us in addressing client needs, improving client satisfaction and our own operations,” said Mike Pickering, COO of Ingenious Med. “The opportunity that KLAS gives us to benchmark our performance, according to our clients, is a vital part of our strategy for IM1 to quickly and effectively fit into existing clinical workflows and provide high returns on our clients’ investments.”
