Multi-Location Medical Practice To Benefit With HIPPA Compliant Long-Term Storage Offered By Hosted PACS Solutions
Hosted PACS Solutions, Inc., an Application Service Provider (ASP) of best in class digital radiology software, is pleased to announce that the Center for Bone and Joint Surgery of the Palm Beaches, a multi-location medical practice, is now utilizing our HIPAA compliant, DICOM archive that will allow for retrieval of data for a minimum of seven years – and can be viewed from any location with a internet connection.
The Center for Bone and Joint Surgery was first introduced to Hosted PACS Solutions through a member of their teleradiologist staff familiar with the cloud based digital service. While the practice did not need full digital PACS services, they recognized HPS’s ability to provide archival services to meet their needs as a multi-faceted medical business. Upon further investigation the group made the decision to migrate all patient image data archiving to HPS. “We realized that we needed a cost effective solution for long-term storage of patient image data while ensuring HIPAA compliance,” said Samantha Levy, Facility Manager for the Center for Bone and Joint Surgery. “The transition to Hosted PACS was seamless and we know our patient information is secure, duplicated, and available to all of our locations at any time.”
"Hosted PACS is focused on personalizing services to meet the needs of our customers," said George Greene, Hosted PACS's President. "We are excited that our business model and flexibility can offer the right solution, at the right time for our customers.”
About Hosted PACS Solutions:
Established in 2009, Hosted PACS Solutions is an Application Service Provider (ASP) of best in class digital radiology software. We host high end RIS and PACS software on our servers in a HIPAA compliant data center and make it available to medical practices on a fee-per-study basis. Our hosted solutions are attractive to facilities that cannot justify the high cost and complexity of an onsite RIS/PACS system, but desire the same quality solutions used by hospitals and large facilities. For many practices, our solution makes the transition from film to digital imaging a viable option. For more information, visit www.hostedpacs.com.
