The new website, powered on iAPPS Content Manager, iAPPS Marketier and iAPPS Analyzer, is a 2012 Web Marketing Association’s WebAward winner for Healthcare Provider Standard of Excellence. Moffitt joins a growing number of hospitals and healthcare organizations, including Children’s Hospital Colorado, Maryland Hospital Association andWinchester Hospital to select Bridgeline Digital and the iAPPS Product Suite to power its next generation websites.
Bridgeline redeveloped the new site with Moffitt’s primary objective in mind; to be the pre-eminent online cancer research and resource site for its patients, researchers, physicians and support groups. Moffitt is now poised to meet its online goals which include expanding the awareness of treatment options for patients and researchers, increasing conversions between site visits and appointments, driving higher charitable donations and creating a community amongst patients, survivors and loved ones. The community aspect was especially important to Moffitt as they strive to have a lifetime connection with patients and survivors through the website. Bridgeline developed a testimonials section as well as an option for patients to create “Care Pages,” which are private micro-sites that can be used to update friends and family with news and photos as well as collect messages of support from loved ones.
Another requirement by Moffitt was for its marketing department to maintain control and have the ability to edit and produce content without the aid of their IT support group. With iAPPS Content Manager’s built-in capabilities that streamline publication processes, Bridgeline was able to put content management back into the hands of Moffitt’s marketing department.
