Mobile App Accelerates Cardiac Response Times

When a patient is in cardiac arrest, every second counts. The faster a physician can identify the nature of the heart disorder and intervene to correct it, the more likely the patient is to not only survive, but avert potential complications and recover. HCA Healthcare, a corporate owner and operator of hospitals and health systems in several parts of the country, recently deployed mobile technology in an effort to improve its ability to respond to cardiac emergencies.
