Litzenberg Memorial County Hospital Reaches IT Outsourcing Agreement With ICE Technologies, Inc.
Practical IT solutions and expertise enabling Connally Memorial Medical Center to improve lives and enhance patient care.
Litzenberg Memorial County Hospital (LMCH) has been partnering with ICE Technologies, Inc. (ICE) since 2005, where ICE has been providing solutions for IT needs at their community hospital. At the beginning of July, ICE and LMCH entered into an IT outsourcing agreement to continue to achieve annual IT goals, provide on-sight full-time IT resource, 24/7 Help Desk, and AlwaysOn Managed Services. LMCH’s Healthcare Information System is Healthland Classic, with plans to move to Centriq in early 2015. They have successfully completed Stage 1 of Meaningful Use and are working towards Stage 2 attestation.
“We knew we needed to increase the IT support across our organization and because of our longstanding relationship with ICE Technologies, it was a simple decision for us to expand that partnership,” said Julie Murray, CEO at Litzenberg Memorial County Hospital. “Their past track record with Litzenberg has always been of the highest quality and service.”
Litzenberg Memorial County Hospital was one an early adopter of the ICE Healthcare Grade Network Model, which includes a complete Cisco infrastructure with redundant core, redundant links to the edge closets, redundant wireless controllers, and redundant server virtualization. “This has allowed LMCH to achieve a highly available, virtual, secure, responsive, and integrated IT environment,” said Lanny Hart, Technical Architect at ICE.
“It truly is a partnership with LMCH. Our IT service disciplines, aligned with the organization’s IT and overall business strategy creates an environment for success,” said Keith Van Donselaar, Partner, President at ICE.
