Legacy Health Improves Process Flow With Infor
Infor Cloverleaf Better Integrates Patient Data Streams for More Accountable Care
Infor, a leading provider of business application software serving more than 73,000 customers, recently announced the implementation at Legacy Health with the Infor Cloverleaf Integration Suite, Infor's enterprise-caliber integration platform. A nonprofit, locally-owned organization based in Portland, Oregon, Legacy Health covers the Portland-Vancouver, Wash., area with two regional hospitals, three community hospitals and a specialized children's hospital. The organization turned to Infor to minimize message transmission maintenance, better synchronize patient data between electronic health records, the lab system, PACS imaging, and more than 35 specialized applications, and provide real-time, high-volume transmission of orders, results, documents, transcriptions, device readings, and vaccinations to and from point-of-care systems.
Since deployment, Infor Cloverleaf has been able to send 4.5 million daily medical device transmissions, displayed in Epic, for caregivers and physicians to view data in real or near-real time at the organization. In addition, the system has been able to integrate patient data streams into an easy-to-use central switchboard that facilitates synchronization without sacrificing specialization, and reduced interface development from months to days through a simple and easy-to-use integrated development environment, with multiple message formatting options. With Infor, Legacy Health has been able to build instant and scalable transmissions that incorporate all necessary data-message types, allowing across-the-board clinical care.
The Infor Cloverleaf Suite is a leading clinical integration and information exchange solution that helps to create a sustainable foundation for healthcare organizations to proactively manage, coordinate and share data across the care continuum. With the Cloverleaf Integration Suite, healthcare organizations can aggregate disparate information systems and data, regardless of the source system, message format or transmission protocol.
"Solving data integration challenges is key for those operating in the healthcare industry in order to increase revenue opportunities, improve flexibility and keep the organization competitive," said Mike Poling, vice president, Healthcare, Infor. "Infor is able to provide applications that combine both technical expertise with a deep understanding of current healthcare needs in order to simplify complex challenges."
