Lawson Software, an Infor affiliate, recently announced the availability of Lawson Clinical Bridge, best practice healthcare connections for Lawson business applications and key clinical systems such as Epic, enabling optimized service delivery for healthcare organizations. Powered by the Lawson Cloverleaf Integration Engine, the Lawson Clinical Bridge adapters for ERP link clinical, financial and operational systems. Sharing information across the enterprise improves decision making, reduce costs and increases the quality of care by allowing healthcare providers to spend less time on administrative functions and more time focused on patient care.
Customers using Lawson's S3 applications can implement Lawson Clinical Bridge to exchange data with various clinical systems, allowing customers to seamlessly and securely share data such as patient information, inventory items and patient scheduling and billing. For example, hospitals using Lawson Clinical Bridge can now have a simplified process for sharing current in-patient schedule information with clinical departments to ensure the most efficient patient scheduling, reduce operational errors and charge capture.
Lawson Clinical Bridge will facilitate improved assigning charges and supply utilization to a particular episode of care, inventory updates, OR requisition, returns, patient refunds and revenue visibility. Additionally, it offers industrial strength deployment, rapid speed-to-value and is analytics enabled in order to deliver the best care possible to patients, all supported by Lawson to ensure consistent upgrades. Lawson Clinical Bridge also offers a short implementation window of four to eight weeks as compared to a custom development implementation, which can take upwards of six months.
