Kaufman Hall Collaborates With California Hospital Association To Offer Educational Series On Population Health Management

Comprehensive, Five-Part Certificate Program Addresses Business, Clinical, Technology, and Leadership Imperatives for Effective Population Health Management

Kaufman, Hall & Associates, LLC, a leading provider of strategic, capital, financial, and transaction advisory services and software tools, recently announced it is collaborating with the California Hospital Association (CHA), the non-profit trade association representing nearly 400 hospitals and health systems in the state, to offer a five-part series of webinars and issue briefs on population health management. CHA engaged in this initiative with Kaufman Hall to help California member hospitals successfully navigate the daunting challenges associated with the emerging population health management model.

As healthcare transitions to a value-based model, population health management has emerged as a critical vehicle for hospitals to enhance care quality and decrease costs. This series of webinars and issue briefs provides strategic, business, and clinical leaders within hospitals and health systems the skills, information, and implementation tools they need to develop or strengthen their population health management strategies. Drawing from real-life examples, experts highlight core competencies, successful practices, and issues that are unique to California.

CHA has collaborated with management consultants and thought leaders from Kaufman Hall, including its Chair, Kenneth Kaufman, Managing Director Mark E. Grube, and Senior Vice President and leader of the firm’s population health management division Robert W. York, to develop and present this program. Registered participants are eligible for Continuing Education credit, and those who complete all five webinars will earn a certificate in population health management. Each webinar is held from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. PT, and is recorded for future viewing.
