Podcast: How Paper Is Hurting Your Healthcare Facility

Source: dbtech

In this podcast, Charles Wilson, CEO of dbtech, talks to Health IT Outcomes's Editor In Chief Ken Congdon about how inefficient paper processes are damaging the cash flow, staff productivity, and patent care of healthcare facilities throughout the United States. He also shares tips for how healthcare facilities can leverage document management technologies to streamline paper workflows, improve audit trails, and save money ... as well as lives. In response to the question of what healthcare departments and applications are the most affected by inefficient paper processes, Wilson says "Well, of course the clinical departments are most affected when we consider what needs to be the focus of these facilities - and that is the patient. When a provider cannot access historical data immediately because it exists in a locked up medical records filing room, then you have a real problem."
