Honeywell To Showcase Products At NAHc 2015 That Help Patients Move From Healthcare To 'Self-Care'

Honeywell will feature its newest telehealth and remote patient care solutions designed to help patients play a larger role in managing their own health care at the 2015 National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) annual meeting and exposition (Oct. 28-30).

Honeywell Life Care Solutions’ products and services, on display in booth 503, provide support for healthcare providers who are making the shift from a volume-based to value-based model. Using Honeywell’s technology, healthcare providers can facilitate two-way communication with their patients, empowering them to embrace their own “self-care.”

“The new solutions we’re spotlighting at NAHC this year give patients the tools they need to manage their own health, while giving providers the ability to engage with patients in a more personalized way,” said John Bojanowski, president of Honeywell Life Care Solutions.

The Honeywell Life Care Solutions booth at the NAHC convention will highlight products and services designed to provide extended medical oversight to patients as they move within the care continuum:

  • Genesis Family of Monitors: Featured in the Honeywell booth, the latest version of its Genesis Touch (v3.2), features wireless connectivity with glucometers and one-touch video. Also on display are Honeywell’s Genesis DM Pro telehealth monitors. All Genesis monitors are easy-to-use: The Genesis Touch was recently highlighted in a study published in Computers in Human Behavior for its ease of use among elderly patients. They also offer a robust view of patient health for the care provider through remote vital sign collection.
  • LifeStream Manager: Designed around the need for improved clinical workflows, Honeywell is also displaying the most recent release of its LifeStream Manager (v4.12) to help providers manage multiple patient populations efficiently and securely.
  • Honeywell Select Services: Honeywell will be displaying its Select Services offering, a clinical monitoring solution that streamlines the telehealth delivery process between healthcare providers and patients. The service enables organizations to offer a complete end-to-end telehealth solution to patients by leveraging Honeywell’s range of products, monitoring services, clinical training, and customer support from a single source provider.
