Memorial Hermann Physician Network expects to send text messages and chat real-time en route to improving patient outcomes.

In Texas, at Memorial Hermann Physician Network (MHMD) in Houston, DocbookMD, a HIPAA-secure mobile communication company, is in the process of deploying one of the state’s largest physician-centric mobile communication solutions.

The DocbookMD application will be embedded into MHMD’s Accountable Care Network to enhance communication between its physicians, allowing them to send text messages and chat real-time with other physicians in the Accountable Care Network.

Memorial Hermann, an integrated health system with more than 20,000 employees, serves to advance health in Southeast Texas and the Greater Houston community.
