HIMSS Analytics Names Leidos Health A Certified Educator Of The DELTA Powered Analytics Assessment
Certification Enables Leidos Health to Measure and Score Analytical Maturity
HIMSS Analytics recently named Leidos Health a Certified Educator of the DELTA Powered Analytics Assessment.
The DELTA Powered Analytics Assessment is the first healthcare industry benchmark designed to measure and score analytical maturity. Its associated business intelligence (BI) maturity model gives healthcare provider organizations the ability to measure the strength of their analytics program, benchmark relative to their peers, and provides insight into where an organization should focus to advance analytics capabilities and maturity.
As healthcare providers rapidly accumulate massive amounts of data and shift to value-based and accountable care models, there is a growing need to leverage data to gain valuable clinical and business insights. As a HIMSS Analytics Certified Educator, Leidos Health can now provide clients with access to the DELTA Powered Analytics Assessment, which shows clients their analytics strengths, gaps and areas for improvement.with that information, Leidos Health consultants can help clients develop a strategy, prioritize analytic improvements, and implement a roadmap that can leverage clients’ data assets to reduce costs, increase revenue and help clinicians improve patient care.
“We are pleased that Leidos Health has achieved this important credential in data analytics for the healthcare industry,” said Blain Newton, Sr. VP and COO, HIMSS Analytics. “By using the assessment, healthcare providers can get a better understanding of how they manage and continue to mature their analytic capabilities. It will help them focus their BI efforts and maximize how they leverage their data on patients, processes, and costs to really drive improvements across their business.”
Steve Comber, President of Leidos Health agreed: “This certification allows us to further help our clients optimize the use of data to meet their objectives of maximizing their resources, stretching their available revenue, and most importantly – providing a better experience for their patients.”
Organizations achieving HIMSS Analytics Certified Educator status must pass an annual certification exam and commit to an annual educator program. This ensures they stay current with trends within the assessment, and are equipped with the necessary knowledge to help their clients advance through the various stages.
Leidos Health will be hosting an educational webinar titled ldquo;Advancing Analytics in Your Organization.”The webinar will show the power of data-driven decisions versus decisions derived from reports, and discuss how the HIMSS Analytics Maturity Model process helps provide insight on an organization’s analytics competencies, effectiveness, and opportunities for improvement.
