Healthcare Leaders Launch CIC Advisory
Former BayCare Health System executives Cynthia Davis and Marcy Stoots have formed CIC Advisory to provide strategic consulting services to the provider segment of the healthcare market. They specialize in helping healthcare organizations evaluate and improve clinical processes using technology, with a particular emphasis on Electronic Health Records ("EHR").

About Marcy Stoots
Marcy Stoots, MS, RN-BC, has more than three decades of strategic and operational leadership experience in healthcare informatics and nursing. She has specific expertise in clinical adoption and optimization of EHRs to promote evidence-based practice and improved clinical outcomes.
Stoots recently led the clinical adoption team for a successful large-scale, multi-facility EHR implementation at BayCare Health System in Clearwater, Florida. There, she collaborated with hospital executives to improve usability and provide ongoing benefits realization. She has also led successful EHR implementations for other organizations, and served as a consultant to the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center on their EHR project. She has extensive experience designing and implementing large scale EHR training programs.
Stoots is a registered nurse with ANCC Nursing Informatics board certification. She is a frequent speaker at industry conferences including ACHE, SINI and ANIA and at various vendor forums.
