Chiropractic EHR Certified

The Wonderdoc Chiropractic EHR becomes the first and only certified chiropractic EHR system qualifying for MU incentives

Under the Drummond Group's EHR Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ABC) program, WonderDoc's Chiropractic Management software was tested and certified, according to a press release. Dr. James Pamplin, Founder, and CEO of WonderDoc announced, "We are excited and honored to know that WonderDoc is the first and only chiropractic EHR system that will qualify for MU incentives. We knew that this was extremely important to many of our customers to ensure that their practice management software was the most up to date solution on the market."

Some of the main features of the WonderDoc EMR System are:

  • no additional software or equipment needed
  • automatic appointment reminders
  • powerful marketing and statistics
  • soap note centric system
  • claims processing wizard

According to Digital Journal, "Drummond Group's ONC-ACB certification program certifies that EHRs meet the meaningful use criteria for either eligible provider or hospital technology. In turn, healthcare providers using the EHR systems of certified vendors are qualified to receive federal stimulus monies upon demonstrating meaningful use of the technology – a key component of the federal government's push to improve clinical care delivery through the adoption and effective use of EHRs by U.S. health care providers."

Rick Drummond, CEO of the Drummond Group, "Leveraging information technology for healthcare initiatives provides the opportunity to deliver a high-level quality of care and efficiency which essentially benefits and enhances the overall patient experience. We have been testing software for more than a decade and will continue to provide our extensive experience testing and certifying complex systems for multiple industries, as well as ensuring interoperability and security remain key components in the growing healthcare industry."

As explained in Virtual Strategy Magazine, "This EHR Module is 2014 Edition compliant and has been certified by an ONC-ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services or guarantee the receipt of incentive payments."
