Wall mount meets display, digital signage and interactive needs of healthcare spaces
An important part of purchasing medical display solutions is having the right support system in place. Today’s healthcare settings need access to vast amounts of information, oftentimes without ample room. Ergotron has introduced the Glide HD, a low profile, height-adjustable display wall mount for such spaces, offering high quality, UL rated mounts that meet the many application needs of facility operators.
“As displays get integrated into ER, OR, and waiting rooms, getting the maximum use out of each display investment is very important,” said Kevin Paulson, director of product management for Ergotron. “A discreet mount that can raise and lower with a simple touch means that one display can be used for a wide variety of applications, without impeding on the available space.”
The Glide HD supports displays 20 to 40 pounds and offers 18” of height adjustability, improving viewing ergonomics whether used for imaging, telepresence, diagnostic, digital signage or interactive applications. Patented CF (Constant Force) technology ensures that the display remains easy to adjust for the full 18” of travel, while maintaining a discreet 2” profile. Height adjustability and tilt allows a display to be moved above instruments and equipment or positioned at an appropriate height for video imaging.
The Glide HD joins a family of interactive wall mounts, including the Interactive LD and Interactive HD, all of which offer height adjustability. The Glide HD is available through Ergotron’s distribution channels. For more information, visit http://www.ergotron.com.
