Emdat Continues Medical Provider Conveinence And Accessibility With New Mobile App For Android
Emdat Inc., a leading provider of web-based medical transcription software, launches Emdat Mobile for Android operating systems. Emdat first brought its Mobile App to iPhone users in 2010, and now the medical dictation and transcription application provides fast, convenient, 24-hour access to Android users as well.
The Android Mobile App allows physicians to review appointment listings, create and submit dictations and review and approve completed transcriptions with ease wherever they have Internet or 3G access. Emdat Mobile for Android is the most recent version of Emdat's mobile software and is available for Android smartphones with Operating System 1.6 or greater.
Medical practitioners appreciate the app's user-friendly convenience and Emdat continues to improve the Mobile App since its iPhone introduction last year. New features include: appointment sorting convenience, access to the entire document workflow and continuous mobile device uploading, all of which will come standard in the new Android App.
"Emdat's iPhone app has been well received, so we are excited to launch the Android version," said Emdat CEO Randy Olver. "We welcome Android users to our Mobile App capabilities and updated features, now more accessible and easier to use than ever."
The latest version of Emdat Mobile can be downloaded from the Android Market or the Apple App Store.
