EDIMS Appoints Christian Mueller As Director Of Data Operations And Management

Technology executive offers emergency department EHR provider 20 years of experience in software development, database management and systems integration
EDIMS LLC, a leading provider of interoperable emergency department (ED) information management systems for hospitals, recently announced that it appointed Christian Mueller as director of data operations and management. Mueller, who has 20 years experience developing software, managing databases and integrating information systems in healthcare and other industries, will oversee data operations, direct interface teams, standardize data processes and ED system implementations, and offer implementation support and guidance to clients.

Prior to working for EDIMS, Mueller ran his own technology consulting firm where he became familiar with EDIMS' technology by spearheading the redesign of a core piece of its technology, developing many key components to its software and reengineering new, successful storage architecture processes. He also spent eight years as the director of technology atFinancial Industry Technical Services Inc., where he was responsible for, among other things, application architecture, database administration, network and data infrastructure, information security, strategic planning and telecommunications. And, he has ten years of experience prior to that as an application development manager and programmer.
