CTG Health Solutions Ready To Talk Health IT At HIMSS14
Expert counsel on Meaningful Use, ICD-10, revenue cycle recovery, electronic health record deployment and optimization, and other top of mind topics offered at the CTGHS 'oasis' booth 944
The combination of tightening regulations and shifting priorities has created unprecedented turmoil in the healthcare industry. The uncertainty these factors bring has providers and payers looking for expert guidance on how to manage accelerating changes without completely disrupting care and financial operations. At the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society's Annual Conference & Exhibition (HIMSS14) Feb. 23 - 27 in Orlando, Fla., straight answers can be found at the CTG Health Solutions' (CTGHS) 'oasis' booth 944.
"Conversations with CTG" Returns to HIMSS
Senior leadership from CTGHS, a leading health information technology (HIT) consulting firm and a business unit of CTG, an IT solutions and services company, will be available for discussion via the popular "Conversations with CTG". These informal conversations, hosted during HIMSS' exhibit hours, will cover many of today's top of mind HIT topics. CTGHS experts will share their expertise on topics such as Meaningful Use, the transition to ICD-10, accountable care and changing reimbursement models, IT infrastructure optimization, electronic health record systems (EHR), analytics, revenue cycle recovery, and the transition to ICD-10.
"The HIMSS14 experience can be overwhelming for any professional working in healthcare informatics," said Ted Reynolds, Vice President, CTG Heath Solutions. "Our goal is to make our booth an oasis, a place where attendees can take a break, have some refreshments, and speak with one of our many experienced team members who can help them wade through information overload to get to the right resources and direction they are seeking."
In keeping with the 'oasis' atmosphere, CTGHS will once again offer its popular Belgian chocolates along with fresh gourmet coffee and cold bottled water to visitors who stop by the booth. Attendees are invited to take advantage of ample seating, refreshments, and engaging conversations with CTGHS leadership.
Joining CTGHS executives and experts in the booth 944 is the company's newest senior leadership team member, Linda Lockwood, R.N., MBA. Lockwood is the Advisory Services Solution Director and brings decades of healthcare leadership experience helping providers and payers achieve improved clinical and financial outcomes. In this position, she will lead the company's Advisory Services team and services in developing, refining, and delivering comprehensive strategic advisory, clinical, revenue cycle, and regulatory/compliance services to provider and payer organizations.
Lockwood's hire comes on the heels of CTGHS's own transformation last year when it integrated its formerly separate Payer and Provider consulting practices into one healthcare organization in response to the growing convergence of payer and provider organizations in the healthcare market.
CTGHS and Regional Medical Center Experts to Present on Population Health and PCMH
CTGHS team member, Jeanette Ball, R.N., PCMH CCE, Advisory Healthcare Senior Consultant, and Barbara Fronczak, R.N., EMR/PCMH Project Coordinator for the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, N.Y., will co-present the HIMSS educational session, "Improving Western NY's Population Health Using Patient Centered Medical Home."
Session 105 is Tuesday, Feb. 24, 1-2 p.m. EST in Room 311A at the Orange County Convention Center. The two leaders will review the successful implementation of the PCMH model across a Western New York community, impacting more than 200 practices and including over 100 EHR implementations. Highlighted in the presentation are early outcomes showing measurable improvements of Level 3 PPC-PCMH by 16 practices. Following the presentation CTGHS will host a "Meet the Speaker" reception at its booth 944 where Ball and Fronczak will answer questions and discuss the project in greater depth.
