• Full support is now provided for both 32- and 64-bit versions of Windows XP Professional and Windows Vista
• For greater transparency of data encryption, administrators can control whether end-users see no CMG Tool Tray icon, the CMG Tool Tray icon with policies or the CMG Tool Tray icon without the Windows Shield policy viewer
• If enabled via policy, end-users can pause and resume encryption processing, initiate data encryption processing for a specific directory or even only allow encryption processing when the computer is locked

• A new utility offers a simplified process where CMG administrators authenticate to the CMG Enterprise Server and securely trigger the decryption of all data and the uninstall of a Windows Shield -- either remotely or locally
• The user interface includes an option to poll the CMG Enterprise Server for updates streamlining troubleshooting and expediting policy and inventory delivery

• Enhanced end-point encryption and operational statistics on the CMG Console Home Page allow administrators to more effectively audit the compliance status of the enterprise

International Support for CMG Enterprise Edition

• CMG Enterprise Server can now be installed on systems running fully-localized French, Italian, German and Spanish (FIGS) operating systems
• CMG Enterprise Edition for Windows can now be installed on systems running fully-localized, double-byte Asia Pacific (APAC) operating systems
• This feature also includes support for "Worldwide English" Windows operating systems with APAC Multilingual User Interface (MUI) language packs installed.
• These global updates supplement the existing Windows, handheld, and External Media Shield support for French, Italian, German and Spanish. The Shield end-user interface and help files are all localized for these languages.
