Deployed in 18 operating rooms of Bumrungrad International Hospital’s perioperative department, Intelligent InSites’ real-time location system (RTLS) software ensures that clinicians have the right medical equipment at the right time, enhancing perioperative throughput and improving staff and patient satisfaction.

With access to real-time data on asset utilization and RTLS asset management, Bumrungrad International Hospital will be able to better manage their inventory levels by adjusting par levels to match usage and eliminating waste from unused assets. In addition, Intelligent InSites’ solution will also help Bumrungrad International Hospital to improve workflow efficiency, by automatically locating available hospital environmental services staff members.

The real-time location data at Bumrungrad International Hospital is provided by Sonitor’s RTLS hardware, which utilizes a unique hybrid technology, combining ultrasound and 802.11 Wi-Fi to achieve high-positioning accuracy and low cost of ownership.
