Bryan Health Defines Digital Medicine With Launch Of Bryan Health eVisit

Zipnosis

Online Diagnosis and Treatment Provides Affordable, Convenient Access to Mainstream Medicine

Lincoln, NE /PRNewswire/ - Not feeling well? Not for long, promises Bryan Health. Now available to people in Nebraska, Bryan Health eVisit is a new simple-to-use online diagnosis and treatment option for minor health conditions. By connecting patients and Bryan Telemedicine clinicians online for an inexpensive flat-rate fee, Bryan Health eVisit makes mainstream medicine not only affordable, but also easily accessible to anyone with a web-enabled device.

With Bryan Health eVisit, patients can receive prompt, high-quality virtual care for common medical conditions such as sinus infections, female bladder infections, pink eye, or cold, cough and flu—all for a $35 payable by a credit or debit card.

Patients start a virtual visit at bryanhealthevisit.com and complete an online adaptive interview. The virtual visit is guided by the ZipnosisSM platform, and most visits take less than five minutes to complete. The results are then sent to a Bryan Telemedicine board-certified physician for review. Once the physician completes the diagnosis, a text or email is sent to the patient notifying the patient that the diagnosis and treatment plan are ready. If a prescription is appropriate, the patient selects a preferred pharmacy via the platform, and a prescription is sent electronically.

"Through our partnership with Zipnosis, we can provide affordable access to mainstream medicine in minutes," said Brian Bossard, MD, director of Bryan Telemedicine. "This innovative platform allows us to extend quality care not only where patients want to receive it, but also when. We believe this will give patients a convenient, easy way to access medical care for an affordable price."

Doctor Bossard added, "If a patient can't be treated virtually, the system makes it easy to get to the next level of care—whether it's with our Urgent Care, office visit with an area physician or even emergency room. We believe this is the future of healthcare, and a solid approach to connect new patients with physicians."

"This is an exciting collaboration for Zipnosis," says Jon Pearce, CEO and co-founder of Zipnosis. "Our team loves working with strategic partners like Bryan Health who truly value their patients' and providers' time. By offering virtual care, Bryan Health is positioned to be a market leader in Nebraska, and we're thrilled to provide the platform."

Since its inception in 2008, the company is continuing to improve patient care one click at a time – beating urgent care compliance to CDC's clinical guidelines for many of the conditions treated. In fact, adherence to evidence-based guidelines via the Zipnosis platform is 98.4 percent for sinusitis and nearly 100 percent for UTI, while the average for urgent care centers is 70 percent.
