Awarepoint Leverages VAR Channel With VT Group To Boost RTLS Market Share

Nemours Children's Hospital is 1st Joint Client

Awarepoint Corporation, the leading provider of real-time location system (RTLS) solutions for healthcare, announced a value-added reseller (VAR) agreement with VT Group, which will market the aware360°Suite of real-time location system (RTLS) solutions to its hospital clients. The strategic alliance with VT Group has already resulted in a joint client, Nemours Children's Hospital, Orlando, FL.

The hospital will boast new facilities that will go live with Awarepoint's awareAssets RTLS solution from opening day. Nemours will open a six-story 95-bed children's hospital on October 22 and will use the application to track assets and optimize clinical workflow.

Under the agreement, VT Group, a large reseller of nurse call and other IT based systems, will sell Awarepoint's aware360°Suite and provide RTLS implementation and managed support services to its customers throughout the U.S. The reseller agreement expands and complements VT Group's healthcare IT focus.
