WEDI Announces Call For Presentations For 2016 Spring National Conference

Health IT thought leaders and innovators to submit proposals for spring conference by Oct. 31 deadline

The Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange (WEDI), the nation’s leading nonprofit authority on the use of health IT to create efficiencies in healthcare information exchange, announces its open call for presentations for WEDI’s 25th Annual National Conference, May 23-26, 2016 at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah. The spring conference annually attracts hundreds of healthcare leaders looking to network and collaborate with a diverse cross-section of the industry including payers, providers, government regulators and industry vendors.

Proposals will be considered for the Conference Summit to be held May 23, 2016 as well as the Conference Breakout Sessions on May 24-26, 2016. All submissions will be evaluated by the WEDI Education Committee on the basis of relevancy, quality, innovation, instruction, comprehension, non-promotional, target audience and presenter experience. Payers, providers, solutions experts, patient advocates and more are invited to submit an abstract of their proposed educational session, but proposals from vendors/solutions experts must include payer and provider co-presenters.

• Health Information Exchange (HIE)
• Healthcare Interoperability
• Meaningful Use 3

• Security and Privacy
• Transactions and Operating Rules
