Top 10 Hospitals Where Patients Prosper

This week Billian researchers explored profitable hospitals that have above-average clinical outcome measures as well as positive patient ratings. Out of nearly 7,000 hospitals tracked in the Billian's HealthDATA Portal, only 19 facilities had:

• positive Net Patient Revenue (NPR)
• both mortality and readmission rates that were better than national averages in three core areas (heart attack, heart failure, and pneumonia) being factored into hospital Medicare reimbursement calculations
• 80% or more of patients surveyed rated the facility 9 or 10 overall.
