New technologies are introduced all the time in the healthcare industry, but sometimes their hype is greater than their true usefulness. That’s not the case for voice recognition technology, which has been slowly gathering positive feedback as the number of its implementations continues to grow. Although it does take some time to install and learn how to use, once that learning curve is completed, the benefits can be widespread in a healthcare setting.

Dr. Carl Schulman from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and Dr. Bud Lawrence from the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital explain how voice recognition technology has been implemented in their facilities and the benefits to those who use it.
