It's hard to ignore the impact mobile technology is making. Not just in healthcare, but in every facet of life. Our expanding ability to "do it now" is becoming the norm. Want to watch a movie? No need go to the theater or the rental store (or box) — just download from Netflix or iTunes and you can watch it immediately. Forget to pay your credit card bill? Just pay it from your smartphone. It is remarkable to see how impatient technology in general, and mobile technology specifically, has made us. We're spoiled.
