Orlando Health's CTO Brian Comp discusses the challenges and successes associated with establishing effective HIE (health information exchange) both inside and outside his health system.

HIE. It's a key component of Meaningful Use and the primary means by which we will provide clinicians across the country with universal access to patient data when needed. Orlando Health is a healthcare system currently engaged in this struggle, and its CTO Brian Comp recently shared the HIE strategies, challenges, and successes of his organization to date with Health IT Outcomes.
