Spectralink Introduces New Application And Integration Management Solvers (AIMS) Partner Program

Spectralink Corporation (“Spectralink”), a global leader in wireless solutions for the workplace, announced today its new AIMS Partner Program (Application Integration & Management Solvers). AIMS is a group of application and mobile device management (MDMs) providers around the world who are working to extend the functionality and customization of all Spectralink Wi-Fi and DECT in-building communications solutions, including its recently announced PIVOT by Spectralink device.

PIVOT is a revolutionary WorkSmart solution that improves workplace communication by combining smartphone-like features with the quality, durability and reliability essential for in-building mobile workers.

Solutions developed by AIMS partners are evaluated by Spectralink to give customers the confidence that the applications will be compatible with Spectralink products. Spectralink devices offer best-in-class voice quality, and the application platforms allow developers to create unique embeddable features so customers get the most value out of their Spectralink investment. For example, an AIMS partner can integrate with Spectralink’s onboard accelerometer to provide lone worker safety, or the barcode scanner to verify patient IDs.

The AIMS program features Gold and Silver certification levels to distinguish partner integration efforts. AIMS Gold partners work with Spectralink on development and integration validation for Spectralink handsets. Spectralink also implements joint marketing and sales efforts for AIMS Gold partners to help optimize customers’ workflow solutions.

Currently, AIMS Gold partners include Amcom Software, BlueSky Wireless, Connexall, Extension Healthcare, Flex Valley, Multitone, NovaLink, and Rauland-Borg.

AIMS Silver partners have built applications that are verified by Spectralink to be interoperable with Spectralink solutions.
