HIMSS Summit Of The Southeast Kicks Off October 11

The 2010 HIMSS Summit of the Southeast, hosted by the HIMSS chapters of Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee, will be held in Nashville, Tenn. Oct. 11-12, 2010.

The unique conference is designed to bring healthcare industry professionals across the Southeast together to hear from and collaborate with healthcare leaders from across the nation.

"As healthcare technology continues to play an important role in the changes in the healthcare system in this country, this summit provides a great opportunity for members of the healthcare community in the Southeast to learn from each other and discuss industry issues," said Justin Lanning, President of the HIMSS Tennessee Chapter. "This year's conference will be thought-provoking helping attendees gain critical insight into the impacts of decisions to all professionals across the continuum of care."

With an anticipated attendance of more than 500, the Summit will take place at the downtown Hilton hotel and feature keynote addresses from nationally-recognized industry leaders, panel discussions, exhibits from various companies in the industry, and more.
