CHRISTUS HomeCare Decreases A/R Days, Streamlines Workflow, And Increases Employee Satisfaction

This ZirMed case study takes a look at CHRISTUS HomeCare, an interdisciplinary home health and hospice service provider based in San Antonio, Texas. CHRISTUS is a faith-based not-for-profit home care system with multiple agencies throughout Texas and Louisiana. It was experiencing problems with processing paper claims, long collection times, and billing errors. At the time its total A/R days were 60 to 120 and bills were usually paid within 45 to 60 days.

Based on evaluation of the available solutions that could help with the problems CHRISTUS HomeCare was experiencing, it chose ZirMed, notably for its ease of use. ZirMed provided the staff with a simple process to get clean claims out the door with many checks and balances and the option to stop claims in a batch for reviewing.
