The Sullivan Institute For Healthcare Innovation Releases Gaps In Care Survey

Practices, hospitals, integrated delivery networks, health plans invited to submit responses by Sept. 18

The Louis W. Sullivan Institute for Healthcare Innovation, which is dedicated to distributing health information technology innovation to transform quality and efficiency of healthcare delivery worldwide, announced the release of a new industry survey. Results of the survey will be de-identified and aggregated before being publicly shared to document progress and inform policy in a report issued this fall.

“The survey will gather information from healthcare stakeholders to understand how both providers and payers are addressing gaps in care through health information technology and data exchange,” said Devin Jopp, Ed.D., president and CEO of WEDI. “It serves as an opportunity for us to look at areas where automation could make a significant difference in improving patient care.”

Practices, hospitals, integrated delivery networks, health plans and other industry professionals are invited to participate in this important initiative. For the purposes of this survey, gaps in care is defined as recommended services that a patient should receive but does not. The Gaps in Care Survey is available here(https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/?sm=S9UVMMNB38Km8x1oF6lCAg%3d%3d) and submissions will be accepted until Sept. 18, 2015.
