Livanta LLC Names Sharon Hibay As Senior Director, Quality Metrics & Innovation

Livanta LLC today announced that national measurement leader, Sharon Hibay, RN, DNP, was recently named Senior Director, Quality Metrics & Innovation. In her role Dr. Hibay will be responsible for discovering, developing, and implementing innovative techniques, measures, and solutions to ensure the highest quality for both internal and external purposes of the organization. She will directly support Livanta’s strategic vision to offer its federal healthcare and other clients the most cost-effective, dynamic, and leading-edge answers to their medical review, information, and measurement needs.

Dr. Hibay is Founder & CEO of Hibay Quality & Measurement Strategies, and, prior to joining Livanta, served as Senior Director for Quality Measurement of the National Quality Forum. She also served for two years as the Director of Performance Measures of the American Board of Internal Medicine, and as the Director for Measure & Instrument Development & Support for Quality Insights of Pennsylvania. She has held numerous administrative, performance improvement and clinical leadership positions involving quality metrics with the Albert Einstein Healthcare Network, Community Health Systems, Lehigh Valley Health Network,  and St. Luke’s Quakertown Hospital in Pennsylvania.

Dr. Hibay is a registered nurse in the State of Pennsylvania and holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with focuses in Public Health and Healthcare Leadership. She has published numerous articles and is a frequent presenter at national conferences on quality measurement and improvement topics for clinicians and senior staff. She has also taught, tutored, and mentored healthcare professionals and advocates on a variety of health and measures related topics.
