COMFORCE Partners With Libman Education To Distribute Online ICD-10 Preparation Course

Course chosen for its “comprehensive content and online flexibility”

COMFORCE, a leading national provider of outsourced Healthcare staffing solutions, is partnering with Libman Education as an affiliate and distributor of the online ICD-10 preparation course, Anatomy & Physiology for Coders.

COMFORCE already has 100 full-time medical coders slated to be trained with the course, and is marketing Anatomy & Physiology for Coders to its clients and coders via Libman Education’s marketing affiliate program.

In this 12-week course, students receive a comprehensive review of the major body systems – all with the benefits of online flexibility. The course includes a variety of teaching tools, such as videos, interactive educational games, and full-color anatomical drawings.

“COMFORCE Coding and Healthcare Information staffing division strives to provide our clients with the most educated resource pool available,” said Cyndi Thomas, president of COMFORCE. “Anatomy & Physiology for Coders topped our list of possible ICD-readiness courses to offer to our staff because of its comprehensive content and online flexibility. Offering this educational program to our staff is a win-win for our clients as well as our employees.”

Thomas further stated, “With the ICD-10 deadline around the corner, we want our clients trained as thoroughly and quickly as possible – and we are confident that this is the course to do it. The Libman Education marketing affiliate program allows us to offer this excellent and cost-effective training tool to our clients.”

COMFORCE is a leading provider of outsourced Healthcare, Information Technology, Professional, and Government staffing solutions to clients across the U.S. This year Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. bestowed COMFORCE with the Supplier of the Year award due to its staffing delivery team’s consecutive top quarterly scorecard ratings for service provided in all categories.

Anatomy & Physiology for Coders is designed to give organizations the flexibility to train coding staff so that it doesn’t interfere with day-to-day coding tasks. Courses can be taken any time from any location, and organizations can stagger the times that individual coders take the course.

Anatomy & Physiology for Coders is approved by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) for 24 CEUs (continuing education units) and 6 CEUs, respectively.
