CHIME And Next Wave CONNECT Form Partnership That Will Transform Collaborative Problem Solving In The Healthcare Industry

CHIME members will use the CONNECT social networking solution, tailored to their specifications, to collaborate in real-time with peers on challenging industry issues.

Next Wave CONNECT, provider of the first healthcare industry-specific enterprise social networking solution, recently announced that the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) has formalized plans to partner with Next Wave CONNECT, giving CHIME members and CHIME Foundation representatives a new way to collaborate with their peers from across the industry. This news follows an Oct. 2013 announcement that CHIME signed a letter of intent to partner with Next Wave CONNECT.

Next Wave CONNECT has been working with CHIME to create a more advanced, intuitive and intelligent networking experience-tailored specifically for CHIME and CHIME Foundation representatives-to improve the way healthcare CIOs and other industry leaders collaborate and problem-solve.

"We're extremely proud of the unprecedented levels of collaboration and communication this partnership will bring to our members," said CHIME president and CEO Russell P. Branzell, FCHIME, CHCIO. "It's an exciting time for CHIME, and the industry as a whole, as we stand poised to transform healthcare through the tools of social media."

Next Wave CONNECT will provide CHIME members access to a multitude of CONNECT communities and dedicated industry professionals who will facilitate discussions and work together to solve the issues they face on a daily basis. Key insights from highly-renowned, accomplished healthcare professionals are provided via CONNECT's Advisory Council Experts (ACEs), Community Managers and Community Advisors-reputable healthcare industry professionals who assist members as they work together to crowd-source solutions and best practices.

"This agreement also allows CHIME CIO members to sponsor their Chief Security Officers, Chief Technology Officers, and Chief Application Officers-giving them full access to all of CONNECT's features," stated CEO of Next Wave CONNECT, Drex DeFord, FCHIME, CHCIO. "Those individuals will bring a huge cross-section of knowledge and experience to CONNECT communities, enhancing the collaborative experience for everyone."

Next Wave CONNECT is a social networking platform designed by healthcare professionals for healthcare professionals.
