Cape Fear Valley Health Selects IntelePACS For Its Five Hospitals

North Carolina-based health care system sought robust, scalable PACS

Intelerad Medical Systems™, a leader in medical imaging PACS, RIS and workflow solutions, recently announced that Cape Fear Valley Health has selected IntelePACS® as the central radiology platform for their five-hospital network.

Located in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Cape Fear Valley maintains over 700 beds, and reads nearly 300,000 studies per year. On top of maintaining one of the country’s top volume emergency departments, which treats 130,000 visits per year, the robust regional medical center also specializes in heart care, orthopedics, cancer treatment and surgical services.

As part of their IntelePACS deployment, Cape Fear Valley’s radiologists will be provided InteleViewer™ as their primary diagnostic viewer. In addition, the health system will also integrate InteleConnect™ to facilitate results delivery to referring physicians, Intelerad’s Master Patient Index, and dedicated modules for breast imaging, peer review and teaching files.
